Those companies that reach out to their customers have a better chance at keeping them, according to a study from Quality Planning.
The study, "Customer Contact Analytics New Fuel for Bottom-Line Growth," showed that insurance companies have a better chance at keeping their customers if they reach out to them. In addition, those who are contacted may be less likely to enter claims within the next 12 months. Many insurance companies also have a jump on keeping the right customers, as they already have programs in place to find the right ones to contact.
"Insurers understand that maintaining regular and effective contact with customers is the right thing to do, but many do not have a scientific basis for selecting which customers to target," said Dr. Raj Bhat, president of Quality Planning.
Those who are unhappy with their current insurance plans have some options that they may want to utilize. Finding less expensive insurance rates may want to be the first step, but the best way to find these is to compare insurance quotes. This can get a person the plan they are looking for, with little hassle.
