All Web Leads announces site for Medigap health insurance comparisonsPosted On Thu, December 3, 2009
When dealing with the many health insurance options provided by Medicare supplement plans, some people may find themselves perplexed by all the options available.
As a result, online insurance lead generation company All Web Leads recently announced it launched a new website dedicated to helping consumers navigate the world of Medicare supplement insurance. MedicareWeb.com will allow consumers to compare plans and get insurance quotes.
Jim Waltrip, CEO of All Web leads, noted that many people may feel confused by the different paths people can take regarding Medicare supplement insurance.
"It is often difficult to understand the differences among the plan designations and differing price options offered by the insurance carriers," Waltrip said.
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, there are 12 Medicare supplemental insurance policies, which are also known as Medigap policies. The purpose of Medigap policies is to give people coverage for things that Medicare may not cover. The policies are sold by private insurance companies.
The Health Department also notes that it is important for people to compare Medigap policies when considering getting the coverage, because costs on each of the plans can be different.
