A recent report from AAA showed that due to more Americans becoming concerned about some driving issues, there could be more action in state legislatures.
Many issues are considered to be on the table, according to AAA's report, and these include texting while driving, booster sear law changes, seat belt laws, teen driver safety and road construction issues. Much of the problems are directly related to distracted driving, which has become a problem throughout the United States in recent years.
"AAA will also continue to work with legislators and other safety advocates in statehouses across the country to pass lifesaving laws that improve teen driver licensing and increase seat belt and child safety seat requirements," said AAA Vice President of Public Affairs Kathleen Marvaso.
While not every consumer drives while distracted, it is common on the road. To ensure that a person is prepared for an accident, it may be a good plan to see if their auto insurance plan is sufficient. This can be done by examining auto insurance quotes.
