Midwest Security Health Insurance company began in 1974 in Wisconsin selling property/casualty and life insurance. The company began selling health insurance to employers in 1980 and changed its name to Midwest Security after acquiring Omnivest Life Insurance company in 1985. Midwest Security health insurance is now a division of UnitedHealth Group Company. Midwest Security Insurance is composed of:
